McHale Performance Suites include formulations from the following standards:.

  • ASHRAE Psychrometrics – McHale Performance Suites includes a library of functions that provide thermodynamic, psychrometric, and transport properties of moist air.  The formulations used are taken from 2009 ASHRAE Handbook Fundamentals, Chapter 1 Psychrometrics.
  • ASME Steam Properties for Industrial Use – McHale Performance Suites includes a library of functions which provide the thermodynamic and transport properties of steam and water. These functions can either be used to determine the thermodynamic and transport properties of steam and water using either formulations based on the IAPWS-IF97 formulations or the 1967 IFC formulations.
  • ASME Performance Test Codes – McHale Performance Suites includes a library of functions which have been derived from ASME Performance Test Codes such as:
      • ASME PTC 19.5 “Flow Measurement”
      • ASME MFC-3M “Measurement of Fluid Flow in Pipes Using Orifice, Nozzle, and Venturi”
      • Applicable Sections of ASME PTC 6, ASME PTC 22, ASME PTC 4.4 and ASME PTC 4
